OUR HISTORY
Through the innovation of our founder Jim Long, our history goes back over 100 years ago. Alternative Belting Enterprises Ltd. was incorporated in 2000 by Jim Long in response to a need for high-quality service of bulk material handling.
Since day one, we have worked hard to maintain our top spot in the industry. Our employees have over 100 years of combined experience, offering you unparalleled customer service and expertise.

At Alternate Belting Enterprises, all our staff members are duty-bound, accountable for safety, and have the obligation to employ prompt, applicable, and efficacious responses on all safety-related issues. This is aided by our OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) management system, as a guide for us to attain our zero-incident goals.
We continuously aim to inhibit and eliminate hazards while carrying out our duties in the workplace and job sites. To us, our staff are the most vital assets, and responsive safety culture resonates with every stakeholder involved in working/partnering with Alternative Belting Enterprises Limited.
Before embarking on any project, our team must conduct a thorough risk evaluation and put adequate control measures in place to reduce and ultimately ensure higher employee morale, and a safe work environment for all.
Our management program is vetted across Canada through risk management platforms which allow us to gain access to job sites and also attain safety compliance.
In 2022, Alternative Belting Enterprises Ltd. was awarded a Certificate of Recognition (COR) for developing, implementing, and successfully auditing a health and safety management system that meets the approved industry standards in the province of British Columbia.
